ZIMBABWE IS BLEEDING WHILE ZANU PF FEEDS ON OUR PAIN
Every single day in Zimbabwe, millions of dollars are being stolen through ZANU PF corruption. This is not bad leadership anymore. This is theft in broad daylight. It is the story of a group of greedy people who do not care about the nation or its citizens. They only care about their pockets, their luxury, and their power. While they enjoy the riches, the rest of us live in hunger and pain.
The recent move by the Ministry of Tourism to shift the Sanganai Hlanganani Tourism Expo from Bulawayo to Mutare shows exactly how corruption works in Zimbabwe. Bulawayo has all the infrastructure needed for the expo. It has hosted the event for years. It is cheaper, efficient, and organized. But because some ministers want to make money from tenders, supplies, and fake contractors, they decided to move it to Mutare — a city that is not ready to host such a big event.
This one decision has now doubled the cost. What used to cost five hundred thousand dollars will now cost millions. For what? Not for tourism. Not to boost the economy. But to feed greedy ministers who want to benefit from inflated prices and fake suppliers. This is what ZANU PF has turned our country into — a playground for thieves. And this happens every single day in every corner of Zimbabwe.
Look anywhere — health, education, transport, or agriculture — and you will find scandal after scandal. Ambulances were bought for three times the price. Roads were paid for but never built. Computers were supplied at the cost of cars. Medicines disappear from hospitals while patients die in pain. Children learn under trees while the education budget is looted. Nothing works because everything has been turned into a business for the powerful.
ZANU PF has turned government into a personal company. Ministers are no longer servants of the people. They are traders in corruption. Every project becomes a chance to loot. Every policy becomes a deal. Every budget is a cash grab. And when we, the citizens, cry for better hospitals, better roads, and better schools, we are told there is no money — yet millions are being wasted on luxury cars and foreign trips.
This is not just about politics. It is about survival. Every dollar stolen is a school not built, a medicine not bought, a job not created. Every corrupt act kills a piece of our country. Zimbabwe is dying slowly because those in power are bleeding it dry. They pretend to care, but their actions show otherwise.
And what makes it worse is that they do it without shame. They see our suffering — no electricity, no clean water, no jobs — and still they steal. They lie on television and blame sanctions. But it is not sanctions that moved the tourism expo. It is greed. It is corruption. It is ZANU PF.
The people of Zimbabwe must wake up. We cannot keep waiting for change while thieves rule us. We cannot build a better country with the same hands that destroyed it. We need honest leadership. We need leaders who put the people first, not their pockets.
Every day we stay silent, ZANU PF steals another million. Every day we pretend things will fix themselves, they take more from our children’s future. Enough is enough. The time to speak is now. The time to act is now. We must rise, we must unite, and we must demand justice. Zimbabwe is bleeding — and the knife is in the hands of ZANU PF.
This is pure opposition propaganda. The President has done a lot for this country. Moving the tourism expo is about development and spreading opportunities, not corruption. People should stop attacking progress. You are always negative. The government is trying to decentralize events so all cities benefit, but writers like you twist everything into corruption. Be patriotic for once and support national projects instead of destroying them.
ZANU PF has built schools, roads, and hospitals across the country. Why can’t you ever mention that? This constant bashing of the government only helps our enemies. Zimbabwe needs unity, not hate.
This piece hits hard because it’s the truth we all see every day. The government has turned corruption into a lifestyle. Moving the expo from Bulawayo to Mutare is just another way to loot. How long will we keep letting them rob us while pretending everything is fine?
