WAR VETERANS LEADER BLOWS THE WHISTLE ON ZANU PF CORRUPTION
The political fire in Zimbabwe is growing again. War veterans leader Blessed Geza, also known as Cde Bombshell, has shaken the country with a bold and emotional message. In a powerful address, he openly spoke against some of the most powerful people surrounding President Emmerson Mnangagwa, calling them criminals who are destroying Zimbabwe for their own benefit.
Geza, who leads a group of war veterans loyal to Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga, did not hold back. He named names, accusing top businessmen and government officials of looting the country while ordinary citizens suffer. He said the people have been silent for too long, and now the truth must be told. Geza promised that action will come on March 31 and warned that there is no turning back.
At the top of his list is businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei, who he says has unfairly taken government contracts and dreams of becoming president after Mnangagwa’s wife, Auxillia. Geza also accused Wicknell Chivayo of benefiting from corrupt tenders, saying millions meant for the Gwanda solar project disappeared while Mnangagwa protected him.
Pedzisayi Scott Sakupwanya was named as another key player in the corruption network, allegedly taking seven percent from dirty deals to share with Mnangagwa. Geza said George Guvamatanga, the top Treasury official, takes ten percent from every major contract and has bought luxury homes in South Africa, the UK, and Canada using stolen public funds.
He did not stop there. John Mangudya, the former Reserve Bank governor, was accused of playing a big role in ruining the economy. Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube and businessman Obey Chimuka were also named among those Geza believes have betrayed Zimbabwe.
Geza saved some of his strongest words for Tungwarara, whom he called a thief who insults the sacrifices of those who fought for independence. He said Douglas Kwande, Daniel Garwe, and Owen “Mudha” Ncube are also part of the criminal network. Mudha, he said, has caused violence against young people, targeted young women at Midlands State University, and stolen public money without shame.
Even ICT Minister Tatenda Mavetera and war veteran Mabel Chinonona were criticized. Geza accused Jacob Mudenda, the Speaker of Parliament, of plotting to become vice-president and putting his own interests ahead of the country.
Youth Minister Tino Machakaire and ZANU PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa were also attacked. Geza directly challenged Mutsvangwa to explain what Mnangagwa has really done for the country since the liberation war. He said it is time for true war veterans to stand for justice, not for corrupt politicians.
John Paradza was called out for being unqualified, while Lovemore Matuke was accused because of his father’s betrayal during the war. Geza even reminded people that Mnangagwa himself was once accused of working with the Rhodesian Special Branch, a powerful and painful reminder of past betrayals.
Ezra Chadzamira, Goodwills Masimirembwa, and Deputy Minister Polite Kambamura were also listed. Masimirembwa, once a lawyer, was called a corrupt land dealer. Geza also slammed Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi, saying he has never won an election fairly but still holds power through lies and manipulation.
He described Midlands Chairman Edson Chiherende and Munyaradzi Machacha as embarrassments to both the party and the nation. Even senior war veteran leader Douglas Mahiya was accused of secretly plotting against genuine freedom fighters.
Geza ended his speech with a promise — that the war against these criminals has already begun. He said there will be no forgiveness for those who have betrayed the people. The date is set for March 31, and he vowed that nothing will stop what is coming.
His words have shaken ZANU PF to its core and left the nation watching closely. Deep divisions are now out in the open. Zimbabwe waits in fear and hope, wondering what will happen next when the truth can no longer be buried.
